Things to do on property and Around the Inn

There is so much to do in the Mount Washington Valley, a true four season resort area. From Snowsports in winter to shopping in spring, to kayaking in summer to hiking in fall, you'll find so much to do here!
Ice skating on property
Our pond is open to skate on as soon as the weather allows for a safe frozen skate rink. We do offer many sizes of skates for both men and women. There are available to grab right from our skate shed in season. The rink is roughly 210 feel long by 37 feet wide and lit beautify at night until 10;30 pm for your enjoyment. Its always a good tome on the ice here at the inn.
Snowshoeing on property
Snowshoeing on our 20 acre trails NOT GROOMED BUT MARKED We have snowshoes available here for guest use lodging at the inn. Aluminum tubs are the brand we carry lightweight, easy to put on and maneuver with. (ski poles available for people who need help balancing.)
Other Activities
On all clear nights we always have a big bonfire at the pit outside. Darts in the bar located inside of the bernerhof inn. Lots of board games, books, and puzzles for guests' enjoyment.
Living shores aquarium
Living Shores Aquarium, located at Story Land in Glen, NH is an indoor walk-through adventure that allows the whole family to discover the wonders of the ocean year-round. The aquarium includes over 32,000 sq. ft. of interactive tide pools, exhibits, and immersive activities. See otters, touch sting rays, interact with tropical birds and so much more. Guests can learn about the widespread oceans and native New England Lakes in a fun, interactive environment

Black Bear Pub
The Black Bear Pub is our very own cozy bar located on the first level of the Inn. Featuring a fireplace, antique carved wood bar and high-top tables, the Black Bear Pub offers guests comfortable spaces to enjoy frosty brews, fine wines or aperitifs. It's a great spot to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking, or to gather with friends and have dinner! Our friendly local staff loves to talk with guests, serving up libations and liberally dispensing advice on where to go next day for activities. Please stop in and say hello to nick, Kelly or Paula. (Only Serving to in house quests and if they may have guests to join them at the inn for dinner)

The Red Fox Bar & Grille is located in beautiful Jackson Village, and across from the picturesque Jackson Covered Bridge on Route 16 just 1.5 miles north of StoryLand in the Mt.
